Heart, lungs, blood, bones, muscles, nervous system, all unified to achieve movement.
For me, exercising outdoors makes it easier to connect. It keeps my movements varied and raw. It means interaction with the elements and environment – it’s not stale or stagnant.
It isn’t just time I have set aside for exercise – it’s an opportunity to physically connect. Training is no longer ‘leg day’ or preparing for a future event that may never come – it is the event.
Out there doing it, open to the experience.
